The Vienna series was taken over 5 days in February. The ideal light for me, flat and intense. The sun draws people out onto the streets. I am very focused on my forays and track down special moments that I capture unnoticed. The two girls on the streetcar didn't notice the silent camera on my lap.

Even if I don't know the people personally, I feel a connection during the brief encounter that still seems to be there when I look at the photos later. This feeling drives me again and again to approach people with my camera.
